AI doctor startup Doctronic has raised $40 million in a Series B investment round led by Abstract and Lightspeed Venture Partners.[1] The company thus raised a total of 65 million dollars in three rounds in less than a year.[1] Doctronic launched a provocative experiment in Utah earlier this year to renew drug prescriptions using a chatbot.[1] The company's flagship service uses a chatbot to talk to patients about symptoms and health problems, then direct them to a clinic via telehealth for a $39 fee.[1] The company ranks as the most popular AI doctor in the world.[1] It plans to use the funding to expand staffing due to rapid growth.[1] Founded in 2023, it began offering the service with human clinics in January 2025 and expects to earn more than $10 million this year.[1] It is preparing to launch the technology with partners including digital health firms, health systems and payers.[1]
