Jeffrey Epstein had chronically low testosterone levels ranging between 125 and 142 nanograms per deciliter, which is below the American Urological Association's cutoff of 300 ng/dL.[1] According to him, the problem lasted ten years, which he stated in an email to the doctor in April 2015 at 3 in the morning.[1] Doctors recommended hormone therapy, including Clomid, but he discontinued the treatment in 2016 due to side effects such as fluid retention and weight gain.[1] The records also confirm a diagnosis of gonorrhea and other infections, including parasites, for which he was treated with antibiotics.[1] In 2016, Epstein informed a doctor in New York that he had tested positive for sexually transmitted diseases.[1] Promotional e-mails for sexual performance products and Epstein's interest in sperm preservation also appeared in the files.[1] This information comes from the recently released files of the US Department of Justice as part of the Epstein Files.[1]
