Celebrity doctor Peter Attia, a CBS News contributor, communicated via email with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.[1][2] They are mentioned more than 1,700 times, according to newly released DOJ court documents.[2] They exchanged messages on medical matters, travel and other topics.[1] CBS News reports in-person meetings, including blood draws and follow-ups, on Epstein's calendar.[1] In one email dated June 24, 2015, Attia wrote, "Biggest problem with becoming friends with you? The life you lead is so crazy and yet I can't tell anyone."[2] Another email from 2016 includes the line: "P---y is really low carb. I'm still waiting for the gluten results."[1][2] In December 2018, Attia asked Epstein about the fallout from a November 2018 Miami Herald article about Epstein's 80 victims.[2] The documents were released as part of the release of millions of pages of DOJ files.[4]
