The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), together with the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population, concluded a three-day regional workshop. The workshop focused on strengthening preparedness and response to humanitarian crises. These crises affect displaced populations and involve the provision of health services. The event was organised in Cairo, Egypt. It took place from 26 to 28 November 2024 and was attended by public health experts, policy makers and key stakeholders. Participants came from the Mediterranean, Europe and other regions.
