The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) and the WHO Regional Office for Europe (WHO/Europe) concluded the annual meeting of the European Regional Forum EOC-NET 2025. The meeting took place at the WHO Academy in Lyon, France. Participants discussed current issues related to public health protection in Europe. Recent results and strategies in the field of disease monitoring and control were presented. The discussion also focused on cooperation between Member States and organisations. Experts from various European countries participated in the meeting. Joint plans to improve the response to health threats in the region were presented. The meeting strengthened the partnership between ECDC and WHO/Europe in the field of public health protection.
